Following a successful series of networking events with insurance brokers across Australia, the last leg of the NIBA Sundowners roadshow comes to Queensland in late May. These free events offer a great opportunity to network with industry peers, while finding out more about what NIBA does for and on behalf of its members and for the broker community as a whole.
NIBA's new CEO Dallas Booth, and President David Duffield will lead the discussions with members, with a whole range of issues under the microscope including preparing brokers for the potential impacts of the global economic downturn, the advocacy work put in by NIBA on behalf of members, and a focus on professional indemnity insurance.
NIBA CEO Dallas Booth said: "The Sundowners roadshow has been an established part of the NIBA calendar for many years, but with a new NIBA team, a new NIBA strategy and a new economic climate impacting on brokers, if you haven't been to one of these events for a while now's the perfect time to take the time out to come and see us.
"Feedback from attendees this year has been excellent, and many have told us how surprised they are at the level of behind-the-scenes work NIBA puts in on behalf of its members in political circles.
"We're also looking to hear members' views on our new strategy and your opinions on our forthcoming Code of Practice review."
The full list of remaining Sundowners and Sunrisers is below. Please note, Sundowners and Sunrisers commence at 3pm and 7am respectively. Sundowner presentations are followed by networking drinks. To register for any of the events, please do so through the links below.
