NIBA College is seeking mentors and mentees from brokerages, insurance offices and associated businesses across the industry to participate in our new programs commencing in Sydney and Melbourne in February 2012.
The aim of the 12-week mentoring program is to stimulate professional growth and self-sufficiency. For YP mentees, the initiative will help "kick-start" your career with the help of an experienced industry mentor. The mentors themselves have the rare chance to ignite the passion for a young professional and contribute to the future of the industry.
Mentoring is a committed relationship benefiting both mentors and mentees and is an effective method for the sharing of skills and knowledge, giving each the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally during the process. The program is flexible with each pair determining what skills to focus on to get the most value from the partnership.
There are three confirmed group workshops, to be attended by all mentees and mentors. These are set as follows:
In between, the onus is on mentors and mentees to meet weekly to maximize the professional development opportunities. If you have the commitment to attend the three program workshops and weekly meetings with your mentor/mentee, and would be interested in taking part, please complete the online application form for Mentees or Mentors today. For full details of the program, click here.
Please note, places in the program are limited and applications will close shortly. To maximise your chance of taking part APPLY NOW.
The generous support of our sponsors Allianz, Aon, Austbrokers, CGU, EBM, JLT, Marsh, QBE, Steadfast, Vero, Warren Saunders and NIBA enables NIBA College to offer this program free to participants.
