Strong guest line-up for NIBA Victoria breakfast debate

NIBA Victoria is staging a breakfast panel discussion at the Langham Hotel on 28 March, with some of the biggest names in insurance taking part to discuss and debate a variety of issues that directly impact on the broader insurance industry.

Panel members include; Dr June Smith, Grahame Warner, Nick Hodges, Robert Kelly and current NIBA President David Duffield. The panel will be facilitated by NIBA Vice-President, David Wyner, and a broad array of subjects will be covered, including:

  1. Developments in compliance and regulation
  2. Career development and industry recognition
  3. What we are doing, or not doing, in relation to attracting the next generation of industry leaders
  4. The challenges faced by brokers of all demographics (SME, regional, cluster groups, corporates’ and the multi-nationals)
  5. Insurance market behaviour in 2012 and beyond
  6. The future of insurer and reinsurer representation in the Asia Pacific region
  7. Whether insurance brokers acting within an agency agreement environment are changing the role of insurance brokers
