Pacific Premium Funding and NIBA College are once again offering the Frank Earl Memorial Scholarship to an outstanding broker to undertake their Graduate Diploma of Insurance Broking commencing in 2012 and interested parties are urged to act fast ahead of the closing date of 27 April.
The Frank Earl Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of the popular broker and long serving NIBA Board Member Frank Earl.
Earl was passionate about brokers elevating themselves into the ranks of professional advisers through ongoing education and during his time on the Board, he oversaw NIBA’s move to develop higher education programs at the tertiary level.
The Graduate Diploma is accredited and recognised throughout Australia and can be used as credit towards a degree qualification at an Australian University.
The Scholarship is proudly sponsored by Pacific Premium Funding to the value of $10,000 and in 2011 was awarded to Debbi Thorne from Austbrokers Sydney.
The successful nominee will demonstrate their commitment to a broking career through leadership, participation in education, mentoring and exhibit ethical conduct and the ability to develop strong business relationships within the industry. Individuals who have completed their Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and who are Members of NIBA College will be given preference.
Full details about eligibility and the application process can be read here.
Nominations close by COB on 27 April 2012. For further information on the scholarship criteria and nomination process, please contact NIBA College on 02 9459 4307 or email: qualifications@nibacollege.com.au
