NIBA has led the way in paying tribute to former Board member David Squire, who died on 5 October.
Mr Squire, who died at the age of 62 after a long illness, was a long-serving member on the boards of NIBA and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Dallas Booth, NIBA's Chief Executive, said: "David was a very highly regarded individual within the industry who made a very positive contribution to NIBA as a director. David was a man of integrity who earned huge respect, so it's a very sad loss.
"He was not only highly regarded for his professional work, but also his private passions – his family, his faith, the Sydney Swans and his HSV GTO. He will be missed."
Mr Squire is survived by his wife, Rosann, four children and seven grandchildren.
