Kate McKenzie has been appointed to the Board of Allianz Australia Limited as of 1 January 2012.
Ms McKenzie brings a most experienced background working in both the Public and Private Sectors. She was formerly Director General of the NSW Department of Industrial Relations and the NSW Department of Commerce, having previously been General Manager of WorkCover Authority NSW and Deputy Director-General of the NSW Cabinet Office.
Subsequently she moved to Telstra in 2004 as Managing Director Regulatory and has since that time had a variety of Group Managing Director roles in Telstra involving strategic management. She is currently Group Managing Director, Telstra Innovation, Products and Marketing.
