Give a fellow broker the experience of a lifetime

With Christmas almost here, you could give a peer a career-changing gift, simply by nominating them for one of NIBA’s esteemed broker awards.

NIBA’s annual search for Australia’s top brokers is underway, with nominations open for the 2015 Broker of the Year and Young Professional Broker of the Year Awards.

The annual awards recognise the top broking talent at regional and national level with the Zurich-sponsored Broker of the Year Award for senior practitioners and the Vero-sponsored Young Professional Broker of the Year Award (national winner claims the Warren Tickle Memorial Award) for our industry’s rising stars aged under 35. Only the very best brokers, whose technical knowledge, client advocacy and customer service will succeed.

Adele May (above) was named this year’s Warren Tickle Memorial Award winner, and says it has already given her career an incalculable boost.

Anyone in the industry can nominate a top broker, and it’ll only take five minutes. All you have to do is fill in a nomination form via the links below outlining the broker’s name, company and contact details, plus five reasons you think they’d be a worthy winner. We’ll take it from there.

Five regional winners in each award will contest the national titles, which are announced each year at the NIBA Convention. The winners will receive all-expenses-paid international business development trips valued in the tens of thousands of dollars.

There are countless outstanding brokers worthy of recognition, and NIBA needs help to put them forward. So whether that’s a mentor, the office’s rising star, or the quiet overachiever who knows their subject matter inside out, if you know of a broker who deserves some official recognition for their stellar efforts, NIBA wants to hear about them.
