New publication for brokers

NIBA is preparing to launch a new publication in April, which will combine the best of its two current titles, Insurance & Risk Professional (IRP) and the members-only journal NIBA Gazette.

The new title will be received by readers in the first week of each month, while NIBA’s weekly e-newsletter Broker Buzz will continue to operate as normal.

NIBA CEO Dallas Booth says that the new title will continue to inform the association’s members and the broader intermediary community with valuable information and insight.

“Both Gazette and IRP have played a key role in our communications strategy over many years, and have been very highly regarded by readers,” Booth says.

“We are confident that our new publication will continue to meet those high standards and provide real value and relevance to readers and advertisers.

“We’d like to thank the team at Mahlab Media for the outstanding work they have put in on IRP over the last few years. The magazine is of the highest quality and has been recognised for that in publishing awards at national and global level.

“We’re very grateful for their outstanding efforts on our behalf,” Booth adds.

The new publication will include the following regular items from the NIBA Gazette: updates on NIBA activity, insurer strength ratings, classified ads and NIBA member profiles.

The publication will also carry across the following parts from IRP: technical insurance and emerging risks features, news and analysis on important issues, interviews with insurance influencers and business improvement tips.

The feature content from the new publication will continue to be included on the IRP website.
