A major insurer has taken a hat-trick win at the 2015 Insurance Awards, with particular attention paid to its innovative approach to client communications.
Allianz was presented with the inaugural Best Claims Outcome Award and the Customer Experience Award at the ceremony hosted by Australian Financial Publications.
Allianz Managing Director Niran Peiris says: “We are delighted to have won this prestigious award and to be recognised for our commitment to providing our customers and business partners with best-practice service.”
Allianz has been commended for its innovative use of behavioural psychology to better its communication techniques and processes, eliciting a speedier return to work among employees who have suffered injury.
In collaboration with NSW Self Insurance Corporation and the NSW Department of Education, Allianz trialled behavioural insights, drawn from research into psychology and neuroscience, within the Treasury Managed Fund workers compensation scheme.
“Allianz continually seeks to provide our customers and business partners with innovative products and services and to deliver them in ways that suit changing technologies and customer preferences,” Peiris says.
“It takes a team effort to achieve this and I am pleased the hard work and dedication of our employees have been recognised through these highly respected awards.”
