The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has announced that it would like to survey the views of brokers two to three times each year, to monitor developments in the market and to maintain current knowledge of broker experiences.
NIBA CEO, Dallas Booth has said, “I can assure brokers that insurers are listening keenly and are eager to hear from you. We have refreshed the way we do our Broker Market Survey this year to better understand a holistic view on the broker-insurer relationship. We are incorporating brand trust and brand experience measures to determine the General Insurer of the Year.”
Earlier this year brokers were invited to participate in the annual NIBA Broker Market Survey and the association has invited its members again to participate in their updated Broker Market Survey for November 2018 to provide views on how insurers have performed in the past six months.
Like the main survey this is also an online questionnaire and has been considerably shortened – it should only take approximately 10-15 minutes and brokers will receive 1 CPD point for completing the survey.
Nielsen is conducting this survey on behalf of NIBA for market research purposes only and survey responses will be collected by Nielsen and will only be disclosed to NIBA or any insurer on an aggregated and de-identified basis. The opinions that brokers contribute in the study will be combined with those of other broking professionals to provide a summary of overall opinions and a selection of NIBA members have already been invited to have their say.
