Claims adjustment innovation steps up

Acquisition

The new partnership of Stream and Cerno will step out together for the first time next week.

Earlier this year, Stream Group Australia acquired a significant shareholding in Cerno, one of the country’s largest claims providers, with the aim of integrating to create a single end-to-end custom claims solution.

The partnership will be on display at the AICLA/ANZIIF Claims Convention in Sydney on 1–2 August.

Stream Managing Director Don McKenzie says the benefits of the relationship will start to be realised over the coming months.

“Cerno will begin to use Stream’s claims management solution to help manage and adjust claims,” he says.

“Stream will begin to handle Cerno’s Under $20K claims utilising their streamlined claims management processes and system.

“The concrete benefits that will benefit customers is the ability to drive greater efficiency, process, transparency, cost and improved claims file life.”
