A major intermediated insurance company has been lauded for offering some of Australia’s best customer experience.
On Monday, CGU was named Australia’s Best Customer Experience Company of 2014, beating out the likes of BUPA, the RSPCA and the Commonwealth Bank.
Hosted by consultancy 5th Quadrant, the awards examined firms’ customer experience initiatives and polled consumers.
CGU Chief Commercial Officer Ben Bessell says the company is delighted with the win. “We have been supporting our customers for more than 160 years and excellent customer service is key to our business,” he says.
“We will continue to improve our customer experience by getting the basics right and also investing in customer insights and technology, so we can help our customers see it through when they need us the most.”
It has been successful year for CGU, which narrowly missed out on a surprise win of the NIBA General Insurer of the Year at the NIBA Convention.
CGU recently launched a new ad campaign focusing on customers and their brokers, with Aon’s Leo Di Paolo stepping into the spotlight.
