Commercial & Trucksure unveils new brand

Well-known heavy motor market player Commercial & Trucksure has unveiled its new brand as ‘Fleetsure’, in a move to ensure brokers understand their solutions range across many industry types.

The rebranding, which has already taken effect on their website, highlights that Fleetsure is “not just trucks”, but other “commercial motor fleets – sedans, utes, light & heavy trucks, specialised vehicles & plant”.

Director Sean Rafferty says the rebranding better reflects the extent of the market sector they operate in.

“We want brokers to identify that the insurance, risk management and training solutions we offer is relevant and of value to clients across many industry types,” he told Broker Buzz.

Rafferty says clients who run a motor fleet essentially have many of the same issues as the transport sector, and often those needs are not addressed by the general market.

“The general insurance market is commoditising the insurance of larger and larger fleets. These accounts need the benefit for the bespoke solutions which we are able to offer,” he says.

Rafferty says feedback from brokers when they announced the rebranding last month at the 2016 NIBA VIC Underwriting Expo and Lunch was overwhelmingly positive.

“The feedback was very much ‘we know what Trucksure did, but the Fleetsure name encompasses so much more and makes it easier for us to recommend the product to mainstream fleet clients’,” he says.

Rafferty also assures brokers that the existing Trucksure team not only remains, but has been enhanced with the employment of Steven Hamilton as Business Development Manager.

“The familiar glitter vests worn by the Trucksure team at expos and conferences will continue, making the new Fleetsure brand just as visible as the well-known Trucksure presence,” he says.
