This year, we have confirmed special guest speaker Australian former test cricketer, commentator and funny man Kerry O’Keefe!  Kerry will share his wit, wisdom, penchant for sport and larger than life personality that has seen the former Test cricketer enjoy a successful media career! His quick & wicked humour, knowledge and interest in all things sport, has even won him a gig as a regular guest on the popular TV show “The Fat”.

QLD Gala Lunch featuring Olympic cyclist Anna Meares

The NIBA/UAC tradition of bringing the insurance industry together continues in 2018 with the marketplace Underwriting Expo & Gala Awards Lunch on Wednesday 18 July at the Royal Convention Centre. This year, we are delighted to share that Anna Meares OAM, Olympic athlete will be joining us as our special guest speaker at the lunch.

Considered by many to be the greatest Australian cyclist of all time and during her 15 year career as an athlete, Anna collected 18 gold medals, 16 silver medals and 10 bronze medals at Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games level.

SA Gala Lunch showcasing comedian Dave Thornton

The SA insurance community will come together at the annual gala lunch on Friday, 20 July at the Adelaide Convention Centre overlooking the picturesque parkland.

NIBA is delighted to welcome Dave Thornton as our entertainment.

With his accessible humour and free flowing style, Dave’s success as a comic has quickly broadened into a range of performance credits on TV, radio and stage. You would have seen Dave popping up on your television screen on a regular basis appearing in shows such as; Network Ten’s Talkin’ ‘bout Your Generation’, a regular guest on Good News Week, three Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala’s, as well as guest spots on ABC TV’s Spicks and Specks, Agony Uncles and Agony of Life.
