Have you updated your company’s information on the ASIC Regulatory Portal?

The deadline to log into the ASIC Regulatory Portal and provide industry funding metrics for the 2018/2019 financial year is 26 September 2019.

The Government introduced industry funding of ASIC in 2017. This is now an annual cycle of activity that all all AFS licence holders must undertake between July and September each year.

NIBA CEO Dallas Booth has said, “If your firm has not yet updated its company information on the ASIC Regulatory Portal, this must be done this week.”

“New users (firms that have not yet established an account on the ASIC Regulatory Portal) must establish a portal account immediately.”

This process is now an important step in the annual compliance calendar. Once all information has been processed, ASIC will determine the allocation of costs for the recovery of expenses for the 2018/2019 financial year, and invoices for this recovery will be issued in February 2020.
