Nominations for NIBA’s top accolade for senior brokers – the Stephen Ball Memorial Award – must close on Friday 15 April, so if you know a worthy broker in your region, please take 5 minutes to nominate them online.
NIBA’s Broker of the Year Award was renamed the Stephen Ball Memorial Award this year in honour of the former NIBA President, and JLT Australia Chairman, who tragically died last year while on an overseas trip.
“The overall winner will receive a prize valued in the region of $20,000.”
QBE is the new sponsor of the award, which will crown five regional Broker of the Year winners, who will contest the national Stephen Ball Memorial Award.
The overall winner will be announced at the 2016 NIBA Convention in Melbourne this September, and will be the recipient of a prize valued in the region of $20,000.
Anyone in the insurance industry can nominate a top broker they feel is worthy of claiming this award. Full eligibility details can be found here. If you have any queries about broker eligibility, or the awards process in general, please contact NIBA’s Fiorenza Zito at firstname.lastname@example.org
If not, please nominate with confidence here. It’ll take you a few minutes, but the effects could be felt throughout the broker’s entire career.
The Broker of the Year Award has been running since 2012, and was sponsored by Zurich Australia until last year. The current holder is Bunmi Ajayi of Megalines Insurance & Risk Advisers in VIC.
