Manage personal claims — CL30201-15

5 weeks | 10 credit points | AUD $375

This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to efficiently manage client personal claims such as major losses and personal injury. The unit is aimed at insurance claims professionals who work in small or large insurance businesses, dealing with retail and/or commercial clients.

On completion, students will be able to:

· analyse and determine the validity of a client’s personal claim

· evaluate the impact of the claim on both the client and the business

· identify and manage additional business support when required

· identify and implement any required changes to the policy or claims procedures

· communicate the outcome of the claim

· update applicable business reports and records.

This unit meets the requirements of AQF competency ‘FNSISV510 Manage non-routine and complex claims, and is delivered by ANZIIF as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 3596).
