McCabe Curwood, the newly merged entity of McCabes Lawyers and Curwoods Lawyers, has officially kicked off on July 1, 2018.
McCabe Curwood will have one of Australia’s broadest insurance practices as well as a strong commercial division who focus on a number of specialist areas of business.
Managing Principal of the new entity Andrew Lacey has said that McCabe Curwood is a bold and ambitious firm who will provide an optimal client experience.
“Being a genuine partner to an organisation – rather than just a service provider will ensure that we are providing the best advice and value.
Lacey also went on to say that the firm will be developing a national presence.
“We are ambitious, and we want to build a strong, large-scale legal business with an expanded interstate presence.”
Scott Kennedy, principal and head of the insurance division at McCabe Curwood, said that the new entity has the advantage of depth and scale which will allow insurance partners to benefit from both expertise and value.
“The McCabe Curwood insurance practice has both the depth and strength to deliver outstanding legal results and value to our clients.
“We have created a client-centric approach which will allow us to listen better and respond to the changing needs of insurers and we look forward to expanding our practice interstate.”
