NIBA’s Need a Broker keeps getting more popular, after setting an all-time usage record last month, helping connect more potential clients with brokers than ever before.
In January, the Need a Broker hotline took 2345 calls, while the website had almost 7000 hits, for a total of almost 9300 total connections.
NIBA CEO Dallas Booth says the figures represent a very positive on-going story for NIBA members.
“We saw a huge increase in overall usage figures of Need a Broker in the 2012/2013 financial year, with the service accessed well over 100,000 times, and it’s great to see that it continues to grow,” he says.
“Every broker is looking for new business leads and to reach out to new audiences, and Need a Broker delivers those leads strongly and consistently.
“We urge all our members to ensure their details on Need a Broker are accurate to make sure they can take maximum advantage of the service.”

In order to ensure the most valuable experience for consumers, only NIBA member brokerages with at least one QPIB on staff are eligible to be listed on the Need a Broker site. Brokers who are authorised representatives of a NIBA member may also be included on the site if they have attained QPIB status.
