Calling all Tasmanian Young Professionals, have you ever wanted to have more of a say in the training and development NIBA provides?
Do you wish there were more opportunities to network and meet your industry peers? Are you keen to be a part of some incredible industry events? If you answered yes, then you’re ready to join the NIBA Tasmania Young Professionals Committee.
Brokers under 35 are urged to put forward their expressions of interest to join the inaugural committee which will endeavour to bring the benefits of NIBA training, education and expertise to the Apple Isle.
Alongside the YP committee NIBA has launched a new NIBA Tasmania Divisional Sub-Committee.
Chaired by ANCATAS Managing Director Nigel Clutterbuck, the committee will provide training, networking and social opportunities for Tasmanian industry members.
The committee is comprised of volunteer brokers from brokerages and clusters across Hobart and Launceston.
The committee’s first order of business is to hold an industry expo and lunch in February in Hobart, a networking drinks evening in July in Launceston and a variety of seminars and events throughout the year.
In addition, the committee will require a secretary. This is a paid role and would suit someone who is either a retiree or a part-time employee to assist with meetings and event planning.
