NIBA’s bi-monthly magazine has won Best Financial Services Publication in a prominent international media award.
Insurance & Risk Professional (IRP) has triumphed over global contenders at the Content Marketing Awards, the largest international awards program within the content marketing industry.
IRP took gold in the category against a group of leading publications, included UpFront Magazine, InBusiness Magazine and MFAA Credit Adviser.
NIBA CEO Dallas Booth says that the result is wonderful news, not only for NIBA but for readers as well.
“We are honoured and proud of this award,” Booth says.
“It reflects the standards and challenges we set for ourselves in all the work we do. But this isn’t just a boost for NIBA. This is good news for readers of the title, too.
“The awards are judged on a strict set of criteria, with the content of the magazine itself of utmost importance. This means that the articles within the magazine are independently deemed to be of the highest quality, and that’s a very encouraging thought.
“You can be assured that when you read IRP, the content isn’t just well written – it’s actually of use in helping enhance understanding of the insurance industry and how it operates.”
IRP Editor James Chalmers has expressed his appreciation for the recognition, but says that it would not have been possible without the ongoing support of the Australian insurance broking community.

The awards include 75 categories, with international finalists judged by a line up of thought leaders and entrepreneurs within the content marketing space.
