NIBA mentoring program returns in March

Past participants say it’s one of the best initiatives they’ve ever been involved in and now you have the chance to experience it yourself as the NIBA mentoring program returns to WA, starting on 3 March 2015 and concluding on 19 May.

The program, which is open to all insurance professionals, not just brokers, pairs experienced industry figures with young insurance professionals to offer them insight and guidance, and to help them overcome difficulties. We are seeking both mentors and mentees to support the program.

The goals of the program are set depending on the individual needs of the mentee, and the onus is on the pairings to meet or converse regularly (ideally each week) to stay on top of goals. In addition, there are three workshops to attend, including a final presentation where mentees outline what they have learned throughout the process. The full program timeline will be sent out to successful applicants.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors the program is free to take part in, and participants earn 4 CPD points. Where possible, brokers are paired with insurers and underwriters to ensure there is no conflict of interest.
