NIBA names winners of NSW/ACT broker awards

Damien Coorey of CRM Brokers claimed the Broker of the Year Award, while Scott Hardiman of Bruce Chiene Insurance Brokers, claimed the Young Professional Broker of the Year Award. The two NSW/ACT winners will now go on to compete nationally.

Chief Customer Officer – Commercial Lines, QBE Australia Pacific, Jason Clarke said, ” Our broker partners are key to our success at QBE, which is why we’re so proud to partner with NIBA to recognise the best in the business at a regional and national level.”

Congratulating Coorey on behalf of the QBE team, he said, “Standing out amongst such a strong cohort of finalists, and despite an ever-changing and often-challenging industry backdrop, is a truly admirable achievement by Damien.”

“Our state winners have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to client advocacy, technical excellence, customer service, personal development as well as their teams and broking community. They have not only made a significant impact to their customers, teams and local community – but also serve as a powerful source of inspiration to the broader broking industry.”
