With the NIBA Convention just around the corner, the finalist for the 2015 broker awards, including the Broker of the Year and Warren Tickle Memorial Award, are preparing to take the stage in front of hundreds of industry professionals.
There are 10 contenders for entry into NIBA’s acclaimed champion categories.
Vying for Broker of the Year are Clive Higgins (Arthur J Gallagher, WA), Anna Sayers (AMS Insurance Brokers, Qld), Andrew Benda (City Rural Insurance Brokers, SA), Bunmi Ajayi (Megalines Insurance & Risk Advisers, Vic) and Brian Salisbury (Austbrokers SPT, NSW).

The Zurich-sponsored Broker of the Year award finalist will be congratulated with a professional development prize to the value of $20,000. The prize includes travel to the US to meet with Zurich’s leaders and passes to cutting-edge business workshops.
Meanwhile, this year’s YP finalists for the title of Warren Tickle Memorial Award winner include Amanda Blackburn (JLT, NSW), Luke Chrzanowski (Tresidder Insurance Group, Vic), Alex Conlon (BJS Insurance Brokers, SA), Bronte Neville (Queenscorp Insurance Services, Qld), and Luke Pratt (Willis, WA).

The winner of the Vero-sponsored Warren Tickle Memorial Award will be jetted off to London where they will engage in professional development sessions and mingle with insurance industry leaders. The all-expenses-paid trip is worth $10,000.
Further to these announcements, the NIBA Awards ceremony will reveal the recipients of the Lew McKeown Trophy for lifetime achievement, General Insurer of the Year Award, and the Student and Trainee of the Year awards (sponsored by QBE).
Presented by NIBA President Graham Stevens, the Lex McKeown Trophy will be awarded to one broker for their services to NIBA and the broking profession as a whole.
The Trainee of the Year award winner Jade Bolam (North Queensland Insurance Brokers, Qld) will also be formally presented with her award at the ceremony.
