Aon and OAMPS have helped put some of their clients in the spotlight, after helping four firms win prestigious trophies.
Winners of the 19th annual Lumley Insurance Benchmark Awards were named at a Sydney ceremony earlier this month, recognising their efforts in risk management.
WA winery Xanadu Wines won the Property Site Engagement award, with Lumley Head of Corporate Solutions Rob Funnell praising the Aon-linked operation for introducing nearly all the risk mitigation measures recommended by Lumley’s engineers in just two years.
The Property Risk Management award went to meat exporters HW Greenham & Sons, who work with OAMPS.
Funnell says the business has done inspiring work in the past three years.
“Their risk management initiatives have ranged from installing sprinklers at two key sites to replacing electrical switchboards and reviewing all their systems and procedures, including a full review of their Business Continuity Plan,” he says.
The Commercial Motor award went to the Royal District Nursing Service, the efforts of which include ensuring every fleet driver has completed a defensive driving course. Its broker is Aon.
Meanwhile, SA’s WB & SM Doser Freight Forwarding, who work with OAMPS, were recognised with the Heavy Motor award.
