Steadfast has announced that Managing Director and CEO, Robert Kelly, has agreed to extend his stay with the broker network until 31 December 2020 at least.
This represents an additional three years from the previously agreed date of 31 December 2017.
Kelly co-founded Steadfast in 1996, and the broker network has just celebrated its 20th anniversary. With more than 45 years’ industry experience, he remains one of the Australian insurance industry’s prominent and recognisable figures.
Steadfast listed on the ASX in August 2013 and in February posted strong half-yearly results, with underlying revenue up 109% to $226.1m and gross written premium went up 2.6% to $2.2bn.
In late April, Steadfast announced it had acquired Melbourne-based insurance software developer InsuranceConnect, which owns and operates the UnderwriterCentral underwriting system.
