The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has revealed the SA/NT region Young Professional Broker of the Year finalists:
- Jess Dametto, from Webber Insurance Services
- Lauren Reeves, from Guardian Insurance Group
The Young Professional Broker of the Year Award, sponsored by Vero, recognises the broking industry’s rising stars under the age of 35.
Jim Cocks, State Manager SA/NT, Vero said: “These finalists are the reason Vero has been a proud supporter of NIBA’s Young Professionals and the Warren Tickle Memorial Award for more than two decades.”
NIBA CEO Dallas Booth congratulated the SA/NT region finalists, adding: “Jess and Lauren exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and competence in the broking industry and we’re thrilled to acknowledge their outstanding contribution.”
Dametto said she was honoured to be a finalist, “It is definitely a credit to our management team here at Webber Insurance Services in allowing and encouraging the continued professional development and training that is required to be a successful broker.
“Professionally, I believe this award truly provides my clients with the confidence that I am committed to providing them with outstanding service and results.”
Reeves gave credit to the entire team at Guardian, “Over the past couple of years I have made a conscious effort to really invest in my professional development and involve myself in the industry as much as possible, and to have received this kind of recognition from my peers is beyond belief. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience and a definite career highlight.”
The SA/NT region winners will be announced at the NIBA SA Gala Lunch on July 26 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
