Zurich Australia’s Commercial Executive General Manager has resigned, just three months after being appointed to the position.
Bobby Lehane has stepped down, saying he wished to spend more time with his young family before taking the next step in his career.
Lehane has been with Zurich for almost seven years, holding a number of senior positions, including SME Executive General Manager.
He was appointed to the Commercial position in April, following the return to Zurich of Shaun Feely, now Chief Operating Officer.
Zurich Australia General Insurance CEO Daniel Fogarty says Zurich wishes Lehane all the best for the future.
“As the Australian CIO he played a key role in a number of significant developments, and as Executive General Manager – SME since 2012, he has led Zurich’s SME business to continued success. We wish him all the best in the future.”
Current NSW State Manager Nick Dendrinos will be acting in the now-vacant role of Executive General Manager – Commercial until a permanent appointment is made.
