The team at Alpha XO Risk Partners has decided to try to make a positive difference to its broader communities in 2019.
It has set an ambitious target to raise $50,000 for charities during the year and the team is choosing charities close to their hearts and planning a series of activities across the year. Commenting on the initiative, Joint Managing Director, Simon Gosnell said, “At AlphaXO, we would like to give something back and stand for more than being extraordinary risk partners. The team is looking to undertake each fundraising activity with at least one other person from AlphaXO and/or our broader business partners to build collaboration and have fun!”
To kick start the initiative Andrew Glover and Rupert Morton are joining Can Too in the 1km Balmoral open water swimming race in early April – fortunately for Andrew, it includes lessons, as he currently can barely swim 50m!
The Can Too Foundation actively supports cancer prevention and cancer research, a disease which has touched all the team through colleagues, friends and family, with every dollar raised going directly to cancer prevention programs and research.
You can support Andrew and Rupert on this first endeavour by donating here or here. Gosnell added, “We will be doing what we can to promote the team’s efforts and hopefully share some great photos, stories and causes along the way.”
