At the 20th Annual Steadfast gala dinner, participants dug deep and raised an incredible $268,367 for the Reach Foundation.
At the event, Vero auctioned their Superbox at Rod Laver Arena. The highest bidder was Warren Richmond at Richmond and Associates, Bendigo winning a fully catered evening with Jonathan Hyde (Strategic Relationship Manager at Vero) for 16 people to see Pink live in concert.
Proceeds from the auction also went to the Reach Foundation, with Vero donating an additional $10,000.
Over the coming months, this support will allow Reach to continue to deliver a program called Fused to young people across NSW and VIC. Fused is an opportunity for them to experience a unique youth-led environment that encourages them to challenge themselves, learn from others and grow their self-awareness and resilience.
Also, because everyone was so generous on the night, Reach has also been able to make a contribution to Reach’s Crew Development Leadership Program which is the training program for Reach’s crew.
This program nurtures the future pipeline of Reach facilitators – each young person who participates commits to more than 50 hours of personal development and learning over 12months. Currently Reach has more than 240 active crew across VIC and NSW and these young people impact the lives of more than 500 young people each year through Reach workshops.
