CEMAC

Norm Verity has accepted the position of National Manager. Prior to this appointment he was the National Technical Services Manager for the Master Builders Insurance Services. Verity also has experience as the CGU National Retail Manager for Construction and Engineering.

Keina Tiaon will start as State Manager in the new CEMAC office in Victoria (which began operations earlier this month) from next month. Tiaon brings with her 11 years of insurance experience, with the last eight years specialising in the Contractors Plant and Machinery field. Tiaon’s most recent role was with the Underwriting Agencies of Australia as the Victorian Operations Manager.

Brenton Mann has been appointed as the Victorian Product Development Manager. Mann has previously worked at Lumley as the Victorian Senior Engineering and Construction Manager, which includes the Mobile Plant and Machinery portfolio for Victoria. He has nine years of insurance experience specialising throughout the construction related insurance segment.

Stephen Borg has accepted the position of NSW Product Development Manager. He has 38 years of experience in the insurance industry in the underwriting field, specialising in Contractors Plant and Machinery. He joins from the Underwriting Agencies of Australia where he was the Development Manager for NSW.

Trent Rogash will support the newly restructured Queensland office as Product Manager. Rogash joined CEMAC in 2006.

Stuart Donnelly has attained the position of State Manager in Queensland. Prior to this appointment Donnelly headed the NSW Branch. He joined CEMAC in 2005 after coming from RSA Insurance Group in the UK where he worked in construction and engineering underwriting.

Katrina Hogan has been recruited from the Underwriting Agencies Australia where she was Senior Underwriter/Office Manager.

Brendon Kropp has transferred from CEMAC’s New South Wales office to Western Australia (WA) to establish its WA platform, which has been very well supported by the local broker market.

GIO

Robert Moffat has accepted the role of Executive Manager, WA/NT Workers Compensation Claims. Moffat brings has more than 20 years of experience in claims, account management and underwriting roles, including 10 years of experience specifically in management-level roles. He joins GIO from Allianz Australia where he has worked since 2001m most recently serving as the Manager of the company’s Western Australian Workers Compensation business unit from May 2010.

David Hutton will return to Newcastle in his previous role as Senior Leader, NSW Managed Funds Tail Claims after concluding his responsibilities as the acting Executive Manager, WA/NT Workers Compensation Claims.

PSC Coast Wide Insurance Brokers

Sally-Anne Townley has joined PSC Coast Wide Insurance Brokers as an Insurance Broker. Townley previously headed Nadic Insurance Brokers’ Gold Coast operations and brings with her six years of industry experience. In 2012 Townley was the Queensland state winner of the Warren Tickle Memorial Award, and a finalist for the national award.
